Sarah’s session was full of strength, reflection, and self-discovery. As a stay-at-home mom of three and a music teacher, she’s spent years pouring into her family and others—and when she turned 40, something in her shifted.
“I have definitely matured a lot in a short period of time, but since turning 40, some of the things that used to bother me, or used to get me really hung up on, just don’t matter anymore.”
Her shoot was more than a gift or a milestone—it was a moment of acknowledgment. A celebration of how far she’s come and what truly matters now.
“There’s this wisdom that comes with turning 40 that just makes me not care about the things that don’t matter anymore.”
“I remember somebody told me, when I first started teaching in my 20s, that you can’t please everybody, and that was always hard for me because I wanted everybody around me to be happy and I learned that I’m a people pleaser. I still struggle with that, but now that I’m a mom of three, I’ve learned more about myself and the people in my life, and since then I’ve come to realize that our happiness is really what’s most important and if the five of us are happy, then that’s all that matters.”
Sarah shared that stepping into a session like this wasn’t something she imagined she’d ever do—but that it became something deeply moving and unforgettable.
“As a mom to three young children, I hardly thought I could ever get in front of a camera in such little clothing, but Cindy made me feel so empowered and beautiful.”
“She is so skilled at posing, lighting, and angles that any flaw or spot of concern was hidden or diminished. I felt so comfortable throughout the entire photoshoot. I cried when she sent me the first sneak peek as I never imagined I could look the way I did in her photo!”
And to anyone else wondering if a session like this is “for them,” Sarah said it best:
“And if you’re questioning who it would be for… do it for YOU! Every person should see how stunningly beautiful they are, and Cindy knows exactly how to truly capture your beauty!”
